New York Region and New Jersey Home Tours

Hoboken, June 6 Ten gardens will be open for the Hoboken Secret Gardens Tour. The guided tour will leave Hoboken Historical Museum and Cultural Center every half-hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain date is June 13. Cape May , June 18 to Jan. 2 A three-story bed-and-breakfast will be the site of the 2010 Cape May Designer Show House. Morris County, Sept. 18 and 19 The historical societies of Boonton, Boonton Township, Kinnelon, Butler and Montville Township will open their museums and historic houses in northeastern Morris County. The tour, which will be Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sept. 19, from noon to 4 p.m., will include the Henry Doremus House in Montville, the 1740 Miller-Kingsland House in Boonton and the Oscar A. Kincaid Home of History. The event is free. Participants may start at the Oscar Kincaid Museum, 591 Powerville Road (off Rockaway Valley Road), Boonton Township.
